The first day of Spring!  We welcome it at Coosada Elementary School!  We have a busy Spring scheduled and we invite you to join us for some upcoming activities.  Early registration for Kindergarten and teacher requests will begin April 1st at 9:00 AM.  If you have a child currently enrolled at CES you DO NOT have to register them for next year.  You would only come to the school on April 1st if you would like to request a teacher for next school year.  I have attached the procedures for teacher requests and information for Kindergarten registration.  You will have the option of requesting a teacher from April 1st – April 30th.  We accept requests daily from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  We will NOT accept any teacher requests after April 30th.

April 2nd – PTO (Green Pods Perform)
April 16th – Seussical Play at SEHS for first and second grade
April 22nd-24th Mock ARMT Testing for first and second grade
April 29th – DIBELS testing begins for all grades
May 17th-May 21nd Honor’s Days (detailed schedule will be uploaded to our blog in April www.mycoosada.blogspot.com )
May 22- Last Day of School for students 

Our annual Spring Fling is scheduled for April 13th  10:00 AM – 2:00 PM!  This is always a fun activity for the whole family.  A 5k is also scheduled for that morning.  Registration papers have gone home with your child, but you can also register online at www.active.com.  Armbands for the Spring Fling games will be available in advance for $10.  Order forms will go home the first week of April.  Armbands allow children to participate in all Spring Fling activities.  Tickets will also be sold at the door in sets of 20 for $5 per set.  Most activities require 1 or 2 tickets.  Armbands and tickets do not cover food items of items purchased from individual vendors.  If you would like to help out with Spring Fling please contact our PTO President through email at mycoosadapto@gmail.com .
