INow Home Portal Login

You were given passwords to access your child’s grades and attendance (attendance only for Kindergarten) in inow home portal. There are two login screens.  On the first login screen, you will need to use homeaccess as the username and elmore2015 as the password.  On the next login screen, you will use the information given to you by the teacher to access your student’s information. 

Morning Car Riders

We ask that beginning Monday, August, 11 you begin allowing older students and/or Kindergarteners that are comfortable walking in on their on to do so. If you have a child that is not comortable walking in on their own you may continue to walk them in until they are ready.  We have also extended the drop off until 7:45.  Students may enter the school between 7:15 and 7:45.  

School Start and End Times

School start and end times have changed this year.  Students may be dropped off between 7:15 and 7:45.  The tardy bell will ring at 7:45.  Car riders will be released at 2:25.  All students must be picked up by 2:45.

CES Clean Up Day: July 19th **Cancelled**

The clean up day has been postponed due to the weather forecast.  We will post the new date as soon as it is rescheduled.

Calling all parents and community members to our summer clean up day this Saturday, July 19th beginning at 8:00am. Grab your yard tools and come help us clean up our school grounds.

CES Open House

CES Open House will be from 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, July 31st. Teachers will be contacting parents either by phone call or letter by July 30th.

Summer registration and office hours

Summer registration hours will be Tuesday-Thursday 9 AM-12 PM all summer. The only exception will be the office will be closed the week of the Fourth of July. Please call the office with registration questions. 334-285-0273

Early release due to weather

We will release the children today at 12:30 due to the threat of severe weather.  The day cares will not take the children when we release early.  The buses will run their normal routes and should arrive home two to two and a half hours early.  If you plan to check your child out of school please be sure that you have your ID out and available as soon as you arrive.  We are feeding the children lunch before dismissal.

Registration and Teacher Requests

Kindergarten registration and teacher requests will begin on April 1st at 9:00 AM.  Please check out our website for all of the information!  We will take teacher requests April 1- April 30 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  We will only accept teacher requests completed on campus. 

School Delay for February 13th

The school day will be delayed February 13th.  WE will begin school at 10:00 AM.  We will open doors to car riders at 9:30 AM.  Please do not drop off car riders prior to 9:30 AM.  If your child rides a school bus please ask them to alter their schedule about 2.5 hours from when they are normally picked up. 

Update on school closing

Dr.Langham has decided to close school all day Tuesday and Wednesday because of inclement weather. We will not report back to school until Thursday.

Inclement weather - school closing and early release

Due to the inclement weather expected in our area on Tuesday and Wednesday the following school closing plan will occur:

Tuesday, January 28th school will be released at 11:00.
Wednesday, January 29th school will be closed all day.

Registration for new students for the 2014-2015 school year will begin on April 1st.  We will also accept Teacher Requests April 1st - April 30th.  Please see our website for all of the details. www.mycoosada.com

Happy New Year

Welcome back to second semester!  We have already had a super first semester and we look forward to working with the children towards our goals that we plan to reach by May!  We have DIBELS testing the next two weeks.  Please encourage your child to do his or her best on the DIBELS test.  It is not for a grade, but just is an indicator to show us growth for each child from August until now!  We expect to see results that show growth in each child.  We will test again in April to see an end of the year growth score.  We will send results home to parents so you can also see the growth throughout the school year.   Report Cards will be sent home on Tuesday, January 14th.  Please see the Google Calendar for all upcoming dates and events.

The decision has been made. Elmore County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th. We will have a delayed start to school on Wednesday, January 8th. The children should arrive to school at 10:00 AM. School bus riders adjust pick up schedule by 2 hours. If you are normally picked up at 6:30 AM you should be ready to load your bus at 8:30 AM. The tardy bell will ring at 10:00 AM
