Coosada Elementary School is located in Millbrook, Alabama. We serve all of the kindergarten through second grade students in our area. We have over 950 students enrolled in our school. The decision has been made. Elmore County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 7th. We will have a delayed start to school on Wednesday, January 8th. The children should arrive to school at 10:00 AM. School bus riders adjust pick up schedule by 2 hours. If you are normally picked up at 6:30 AM you should be ready to load your bus at 8:30 AM. The tardy bell will ring at 10:00 AM

December News
December is a very busy time at Coosada Elementary School! We have two Christmas Concerts provided by our Choir. Our first grade choir will have a concert on December 3rd at 6:00 PM. Our second grade choir will have a concert on December 10th at 6:00 PM. We invite you to attend both! We will have Breakfast with Santa the morning of December 18th. We will begin with Kindergarten around 8:15. Each grade will have a visit with Santa and a choir performance. School will release at 12:30 on December 19th.

GOTCHA TIME
The next Gotcha Party is scheduled for December 6th. Talk to your child about whether or not they are receiving Gotcha's. They receive Gotcha's when they are caught following the rules. They need five to attend the next Gotcha Party! Our three school rules are respect yourself, respect others, and respect property!

November Reminders
Hope all is going GREAT parents! Our school Cookie
Dough Fundraiser was a great success thanks to your support! We will have
Cookie Dough pick up on Wednesday, October 30th until 7:00 PM.
Please come by our school cafeteria to pick your order up! We also
release school early that day for teacher in-service. The children will
be released at 12:00 on Wednesday, October 30th. Please make
arrangements for your children to arrive home early that day!
This week is Red Ribbon Week! We hope you will
encourage your child to dress up and participate in the activities!
Tuesday – pajama and/or silly sock day
Wednesday – Costume Parade (wear costume to school/please
send a change of clothes for after the parade)
Thursday – Team up against drugs – Drug Free Pep Rally in
the gym at 1:45 – wear favorite team colors
Friday – wear camo/animal print
We always have ways you can support the school going on, and
we understand that you cannot possibly participate in all of them! We
appreciate any support you are able to provide. Chick Fil A night is
tonight in Prattville J
MATH NIGHT IS NEXT TUESDAY – 6:00 PM! Join us for Math
night!!

Back to School Bash
We are excited for our upcoming Back to School Bash! It will be held August 17th from 10-2 at the Village Green in Millbrook! Lots of games, inflatables, food and fun are sure to be at the Back to School Bash. You can purchase arm bands during open house on August 15th. Just see the PTO table to purchase!
